LISMA has implemented an export contract with People's Republic of China
A contract for the supply of semi-finished products for the lighting company in People's Republic of China concluded: LISMA will supply a glass bulb A60 for the manufacture of LED lamps.
“This contract has a great historical importance,” regarded Igor Konstantinov, General Director of LISMA. - While import of products from People's Republic of China to Russia is growing every year, export to this country becomes a unique phenomenon. And even more as far as is concerned the lighting engineering - it is Chinese manufacturers that occupy 95% of this market. The fact that the factory dispatched its products to People's Republic of China, first of all indicates that we can produce high-quality competitive products at an adequate price. In the factory LISMA a tremendous work was carried out on the modernization of glass production. The reconstruction of the furnace "Ribbon", the value of which is about 60 million rubles, the improvement of technological processes and the implementation of an action plan to reduce cost prices and improve the quality of semi-finished products — now all of this allow us to offer glass products that are in demand in various areas of industrial production. We have been working out this contract for almost a year and a half, and we hope that it will be the beginning of our factory’s continuous cooperation with this state, the beginning of introducing and securing domestic producers in the Chinese market.
The authorities of Republic of Mordovia pay great attention to the development of export direction by manufacturers of the Republic. Over the past four years, the volume of exports from the region increased fourfold, and by 2024 the objective has been set to increase it by half. LISMA contributes to this work. Increasing the share of exports in total sales is a key objective of the enterprise development program. Just a month earlier, LISMA added another promising export contract, sending glass semi-finished products to Iran for the production of gas-discharge lamps.
