LISMA will supply the equipment to Africa
A contract for the supply of an LED filament assembly line in the Republic of Burundi is signed between TLLINNO and LISMA. The document provides for the engineering and manufacture of equipment, technology development and the launch of the line on site. The capacity of the equipment is 1000 lamps per shift, the contract execution timelines is august of the current year. The engineer of the enterprise will perform works fully providing for the specifics of the region: the shortage of energy resources, climatic conditions, and a low level of technical development.
“For LISMA this order was another step in the development of a new direction - technology transfer,” comments the General Director Igor Konstantinov. - This is not just the sale of lamps or semi-finished products, but the implementation of the project "turnkey": from engineering to launch. The factory has a similar experience: in the times of USSR, specialists of LISMA as leading consultants, helped launch lighting enterprises abroad — in Ukraine, in Belarus, and in Kyrgyzstan. This experience abeyance was forgotten, but now it is again in demand, particularly in the developing countries. There is little difficulty in buy a lamp of any manufacturer, but there is to create your own production, providing local people with work — it is another level. People's Republic of China, eager to deliver its product to any part of the world, almost never creates industries in the field - why should they lose markets? For LISMA this is an ideal opportunity to enter into the world market. The project in the Republic of Burundi was the first, and we are sure not the last: just the other day we are waiting for a business visit of the delegation of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the richest country in Africa”.
We add that the Russian-African company TLLINNO, which was established one year ago, is developing dynamically, demonstrating growth in sales and profits. The 2nd Vice-President of Burundi, Joseph Butore, estimated high this project. During the meeting with the delegation of LISMA, he accentuated that the authorities of the State are very interested in the expanding cooperation and further developing TLLINNO.
“We want that your products to be everywhere, replacing imported light sources,” Joseph Butore said. - This project is very important from the point of view of the development of the industrial potential of the Republic of Burundi, therefore we provide and will provide maximum support”.
